French/Finnish duo The Dø – aka Olivia Merilahti and Dan Levy are back with their new album 'Shake Shook Shaken'. Olivia and Dan met back in 2005 and collaborated on a number of compositional projects – including films and ballet scores – before launching their own musical endeavours in 2007. After spending two years honing their craft, the band released debut album 'A Mouthful' in 2008, which saw them land the prized no.1 album spot in France.
Among some of the first French artists to top the French charts with English vocals with their off-kilter, indie pop sound The Dø's first two albums are a fusion of warped vocals, electro-folk and avant-pop percussion; their 3rd album brings synthetic dance sounds and percussion to the forefront.
