104 movies
My work-in-progress list for the 2021 (and 6th) Cult Movie Challenge. All titles are tentative, depending on availability or if something more appealing catches my eye.
Since January 1st falls on a Friday for 2021, I've decided to take things up a notch from my past participation in the challenge. More than once over the past two years I've found myself having to choose between multiple options for a given week and coming away a bit dissatisfied with just watching one movie for a particular theme or filmmaker.
So I thought why not take advantage of what looks to be another year of stay-at-home weekends and program my own double features for every week of the challenge? In that vein, I have selected 104(!) cult movies -- two per week -- that I will attempt to watch and review over the course of 2021. In the event that I don't have time to watch both in one sitting, I'll split them up over the week, but since most of these are 90 minutes or less I feel like viewing them as double features is pretty attainable.
