Owls at Noon Prelude: The Hollow Men (2005)

Marker’s OWLS AT NOON Prelude: The Hollow Men is a 19-minute looped media installation commissioned by the Museum to celebrate its reopening in Manhattan.
The text- and image-based media work, which is the first in Marker’s ambitious multipart history of the 20th century, takes as its starting point T. S. Eliot’s poem ‘The Hollow Men’ (1925), which evokes the repercussions of World War I.
