　　高河弓略带BL气息的经典杰作《EARTHIAN（又名：天使夜未眠）》曾于1989年7月、1990年9月、1996年9月与12月发售过全4卷LD版的OVA，原作代表了80年代漫画的水平，集结了强力staff的传说中的OVA，现在该部OVA决定DVD化。

　　DVD已于9月24日面市，封面由高河弓重新绘制。

　　收录了全3作共4话的内容，映像特典为《EARTHIAN》插画的静态图，封入特典是原作者高河弓最新绘制的带评语的笔记本。

Kuro Daijuuji is a poor detective living in Arkham City. One day, he was requested by Ruri Hado of Hado Financial Group, to search for a magic book. 漫画家・永井豪の代表作でもある『バイオレンスジャック』。本OVAは、原作漫画版の新章というべき80～90年代の「漫画ゴラク」連載版の一編を元にしており、同じ永井豪の『ゴッドマジンガー』のネタが観られる。成人指定の作品ゆえ、暴力描写も激しい。
関東を瞬時に荒廃させた大地震。地獄のような無法状態と化す中で人々は必死に生きていた。新宿の地下街で生き延びていた人々はA～Cの3グループに分派。A地区は男性、B地区が無法者、そしてC地区が女性を中心にしていた。ある時、A地区でガレキの中から謎の大男ジャックが出現。B地区のボス・マッドザウルスはジャックに興味を抱き、三地区合同のフリーマーケットを開催して人々を集める。そこでジャックに対しC地区の代表アイラは、A地区の男がかつて女性たちを蹂躙した事実を告げ、自分たちの味方になるよう懇願。だがB地区がA地区とC地区にキバを剥き……。
本作の実制作はStudio88が担当したが、作画協力として『聖戦士ダンバイン』などのビーボォーも名を連ねている。
