索尼筹划已久的《龙虎少年队》（21 Jump Street）外传近日确定了编剧导演人选，曾为索尼《龙虎少年队×黑衣人》项目创作剧本的罗德尼．罗思曼（Rodney Rothman）将为这部名为《龙虎少女队》的电影写剧本，并且有望亲自导演。
《龙虎少女队》是脱胎于《龙虎少年队》的“扮嫩”与“代沟”这个创意，只不过故事主角成了两名女性卧底警察，她们为了破案不得不把自己乔装改扮成中学、大学女生，但目前尚不清楚《龙虎少女队》的主角是原来出现过的角色？还是全新创作的角色？
《龙虎少女队》与钱宁·塔图姆（Channing Tatum）、乔纳·希尔（Jonah Hill）主演的《龙虎少年队》正传系列并不冲突，目前《龙虎少年队3》（23 Jump Street）仍在正常筹备中。同时，索尼还在积极筹备《黑衣人》（Men in Black）与《龙虎少年队》的交叉集。
