数年前，放学回家的少女知美（阿久根裕子 饰）在林间小道上发现好友惠子（未向 饰）扔倒在地上的自行车。她向森林深处走去，发现一个男人正在强暴惠子。知美用石头砸向男人的脑袋，救下好友。
此后不久，惠子只身前往东京，成为一名妓女。高中毕业后，木讷内向的知美看不到前途，她也起身来到东京寻找好友。知美的到来令惠子甚为不快，她刻意忘记的痛苦过去瞬间又浮现出来。一番吵闹，惠子最终接受了好友。惠子的男友西山（池内万作 饰）粗暴凶恶，他对留在公寓内的知美提出了条件，那就是必须接客赚钱。这对好友相继堕入这万劫不复的深渊，她们的未来将何去何从……
