An experimental collective film lasting little more than an hour, compiled from 10 episodes by a total of 14 different young Brazilian filmmakers. The project was an initiative of the directing duo Felipe Bragança and Marina Meliande, who sent a ‘letter of concern’ to inspire the participants. In it, a 16-year-old girl wrote about her dreams, which have been translated by the directors into films about love, youth and the possibilities of cinema.

Three brothers find themselves sharing a home with the alluring new wife of the middle sibling. As they become infatuated with the same woman, a complex and enthralling tale ensues in this tropical paradise.

The inhabitants of the Brazilian city of Contagem yearn for a better life. At the core of it all is Selma, a woman dreaming about the heart of the world: it could be anywhere, as long as it's a place where to feel happier.

In the Brazilian countryside, a family straining to care for their bedridden patriarch have their lives changed when a shady nurse offers a diabolical deal: put their elder to rest and host an Argentinian drug kingpin who urgently needs a place to hide.

Madalena hasn’t come home from work. Worried about his wife, Elon delves into a restless journey in search of her whereabouts. His quest began following her daily routines, work, family and her friends. In desperation, Elon reports to the police station. Fearing the worst he trudges to one hospital after another, even morgues. No one has a clue about the sudden and baffling disappearance of his wife. Insomnia sets in. Loneliness takes hold of Elon’s life. Driven to the edge of desperation, life becomes a maze of misunderstandings, strange encounters and journeys through endless corridors in the darkest parts of town. The watchful eye of Elon seems void as he gazes at obscure figures, at shadows, at faces in the crowd hoping for the comeback of his beloved wife. Elon is losing his mind. His life is falling apart, with his job lost, he vents out his pain and desperation in a violent manner. Reality deceives Elon and he decides to deny it.

But can he deceive reality, too?

Twenty two years ago, an arid, volcanic and island paradise nestled in the middle of the South Atlantic, a nine year old boy was separated from his sister. The mother, fearful of a forbidden attraction between them, decides to send his son, not daughter, for the continent. The boy was taken by Kaleb, the rider of an old circus, passing by the island. On the mainland, Kaleb instructed the boy in circus arts and spirit, where the former islet became Zolah the Bullet Man. BLUE BLOOD begins when Zolah and the circus back to paradise. The circus is established as an island within an island, and the most solitary of these isles Zolah himself, a beautiful man who seduces everyone and everything, yet remains deeply lonely, because he could not love anyone. BLUE BLOOD is a film about the sea, the circus and the impossibility of love.
