日向市の細島という小さな港町で暮らす佐和（池間夏海）は、軽音部のバンドでボーカルをしている高校３年生。シングルマザーの母・佳子（田中麗奈）を支え、中学生の弟の面倒も見る快活なしっかり者だ。一方、離婚した父・卓（玉山鉄二）は、サーフィン一筋に生きる不器用だけど憎めない男。佐和は父のもとをたまに訪ねては世話を焼いている。そんな穏やかな日常が、弟の起こした“事件”によって一変。さらに、プロサーファーを目指す幼なじみの武瑠（立石ケン）との再会によって、佐和は知らず知らず心の内に秘めてきた"本当の思い"と向き合うことに･･･
