范爷重出江湖了，刚在罗马电影节首映了号称影史第一弹的UGC（用户创造内容）电影（其实是个肥皂喜剧电视电影），叫Tricked (Steekspel)
这个UGC概念其实并非来自范爷本人，纯是制片出的噱头
他们先写了片子开头五分钟的本子，放到网上，让大众续写下面的五分钟
结果第一段就收到700份投稿，总计3000来页
范爷团队蛛网抽丝般编辑整理，最后用到约50份
然后重复同一过程，来回7遍有了成片定稿
UGC的结果就是剧情转折无数，短短52分钟电影成了狗血melodrama集大成之作
光个开头就是花心萝卜地产大亨，五十大寿，日记礼物，电瓶车，怀孕情妇，公司卖给ZHONG国巨聂，敲诈勒索

米高梅正在开发新的《机械战警》电影，由《第九区》导演尼尔·布洛姆坎普执导，命名为《机械战警归来》（RoboCop Returns），希望发展成系列电影。
1987年老版《机械战警》编剧爱德华·纽梅尔和迈克尔·麦纳将担任影片监制。二人几年前曾写过一版剧本，作为老版的续集，不过后来没有拍成。重启版《终结者6》的编剧之一Justin B. Rhodes将负责改写这版剧本。
