在中国古代的一个小镇，住着一群淳朴善良的人。孔小如是镇上的一个孤儿,和小狗布丁相依为命。
虽然镇上的人们都很贫穷，但他们坚强乐观，有强烈的正义感，孔小如经常帮助村民们出主意。镇上有一个爱贪小便宜、吝啬的财主---嗡爷以及他那凶悍的老婆麻姑。他们经常欺诈乡亲，因此乡亲们对嗡爷一家极其反感、讨厌。孔小如凭着机智勇敢和其他村民们，屡次破坏嗡爷的阴谋诡计，搞得嗡爷处处弄巧成拙。

Harold Lloyd's World of Comedy was a compilation produced by Harold Lloyd in 1962 and it showcased the old classic silent masterpieces of Harold Lloyd and it even got into the Cannes Film Festival and new generations got to know the young man with glasses.
