《月亮是一个冷酷的情人》1966年出版，故事讲述了未来，人类在月球上建立了殖民地，地球上的统治者对月球殖民地采取高压统治，激起了殖民地人民的不满，从而起兵反抗。
虽然是科幻小说，但该书表达的却是自由主义理想，在今天看来依然十分有意义。
据悉，电影版片名叫做《起义》（Uprising），布莱恩·辛格将担任该片制片人。
罗伯特·A·海因莱因（Robert A. Heinlein）是著名的科幻小说家，代表作有《星河舰队》（Starship Troopers）系列。后者曾在1997年被保罗·范霍文（Paul Verhoeven）搬上大银幕，尽管当时票房口碑都不大好，但现在却成为了科幻片中的一部经典之作，一提到人虫大战大家都会想到它。目前《星河舰队》也在准备重拍。

CW台一口气宣布续订旗下10部美剧，刚刚庆祝播出300集的《邪恶力量》续订第15季，收视稳定的超级英雄系列剧集《绿箭侠》（第八季）、《黑霹雳》（第三季）、《明日传奇》（第五季）、《闪电侠》（第六季）、《女超人》（第五季）毫无悬念获得了新一季的续订。
