Sword and magic rule in the continent of Kuna'ahn. Also residing there is the feared "Evil Dragon" Daganzord, an unstoppable force that leaves nothing but scorched land and destruction wherever he goes. Hiiro's parents, Bairo and Kismitete, joined other sorcerers in a magic ritual ten years ago in an attempt to seal Daganzord, but failed when someone interfered. The story follows Motoko Kusanagi, a highly skilled member of the military, whom upon meeting Daisuke Aramaki, a current chief of the Public Security Section 9, in less than desirable conditions struggles to clear her name whilst forming her own independent team with the highest priority under the sponsorship and guidance of the chief Aramaki himself.

漫画家满田拓也的知名作品《MAJORDRAMATIC BASEBALL COMIC》自从1994年连载至今已历16个年头，已经在今年七夕连载结束，而六度改编的电视动画版也随之播毕。这一次，官方宣布将改编成OVA全一卷，而且作为原作漫画单行本最后一集（第78卷）的初回限定特典DVD！（换句话说，就是OAD）预定在12月17日前后(!?)推出。

满田拓也所著的棒球漫画「MAJOR(棒球大联盟)」，从1994年开始在「周刊少年Sunday」上连载至今，已经出版了74卷单行本，是「周刊少年Sunday」里单行本卷数最多的长篇漫画。作品讲述了主人公・茂野吾郎，历经少棒联盟与高中棒球时代，进入美国大联盟挑战的成长历程。根据本作改编的TV动画从2004年起在NHK教育电视台播放，自此基本每年都会推出一季，接续09年初的第5季的大联盟篇和世界杯篇，第6季已确定在2010年4月3日播放。相比起其他热播中的长篇动画，「棒球大联盟」的分季制作相信更能让多数观众接受，一来可以忠实于原作漫画避免靠原创剧情拖时间，二来观众也不会因长期追看而产生视觉疲劳。

吾郎想在圣秀建立一个棒球社打败海堂，但是圣秀高中从几年才从女校改成男女合校，所以学校男生人数根本不到十个，在吾郎好说歹说下，大家终於愿意加入棒球社，在吾郎的爸爸茂野的训练下，打算在3年级时参加比赛，但在一次因缘际会下，球队监督连络到了海堂的2军，於是他们之间开始了一场练习赛，江头在比赛中故意指使一个球员踩伤吾郎的脚，害的吾郎在县内比赛开始时以负伤的情况参加，一路努力终於打到了县内决赛，圣秀V.S海堂，但因为吾郎的伤势，在经过长时间的延长赛后，吾郎也因为体力不支最后以投手犯规，海堂获胜结束了比赛，比赛后江头也因为命人踩伤吾郎的事情被发现而被革职。
