幕后制作
本片由好莱坞著名演员丹尼·格洛弗出任制作人，他邀请好友Bennet Guillory来扮演主角。两人在时隔23年后，再度饰演一对兄弟。
日本方面的演员阵以高冈早纪、清水美沙两位气质美女为首，还包括了穗乃香、misono、白石美帆等众多个性演员。
导演Aaron Woolfolk是在哥伦比亚大学攻读电影专业的研究生。他选择了日本高知县的田园和山野作为自己电影处女作的舞台。Aaron本人也曾在高知当过英语教师。这不是一部单纯表现外国人眼中日本的电影，它静静地诉说着超越国境的家庭羁绊和自我发现的历程，展现出日本的美和普通人的温情。
