凯恩按往常一样帮路易把烟叶包运进仓库以后，得到了为数不少的报酬。他买了一瓶好酒，并高高兴兴驾着摩托赶回自己的住处。女友蒂娜在家等着他哩。蒂娜反对他“贩毒”而要和他分手。凯恩向蒂娜解释自己从不吸毒、更不会贩卖毒品，只是为了付房租，为了上大学，帮卷烟厂干干活而已。由于互相拉扯，造成蒂娜受伤死亡。凯恩不知所措，打电话向路易求救。不料，他自己反被无腿开枪打死。这使路易感到吃惊。

无腿先生又让路易赶快找凯恩的尸体。路易和默勒来到医院停尸房，找到了凯恩的尸体。正当他们要把尸体偷走时，查克带着安迪来了。双方开展了搏斗。安迪通过这件事，更证实了妹妹死于黑帮之手。
无腿先生决定干掉安迪。他找到给安迪告密的萨米，逼萨米打电话约安迪于当夜在七海酒吧见面。安迪报仇心切，只身来到七海酒吧。安迪凭着自己的勇敢，才使无腿先生的阴谋未能得逞。这时，查克接到安迪女友格温的电话，马上赶到七海酒吧。他们分析了最近所发生的一系列事情，证明无腿就是丹吉洛的爪牙，而丹吉洛仍在暗中干坏事。查克还怀疑贩毒集团之所以未能破案，恐怕与警察局长哈瑟受贿有关。安迪同意暗中监视哈瑟。
无腿先生的接连失利，以及他的狂妄自大，丹吉洛早对他有了戒备之心，决定派心腹把无腿干掉。而无腿也早在打算干掉丹吉洛，由他来控制整个贩毒集团。无腿趁卷烟厂停工的机会，打电话告诉哈瑟，说丹吉洛要见他。同时通知丹吉洛，假称哈瑟要见他。当哈瑟、丹吉洛同时来到卷烟厂时，两人才知道上了当。丹吉洛得意地告诉哈瑟，无腿也要完蛋了。这时，无腿乘轮椅来到卷烟厂，他是打败了丹吉洛心腹以后赶来的。丹吉洛被无腿当场打死，而无腿先生则被哈瑟击毙。当哈瑟见到安迪、查克跟踪而来，知道事已败露，企图驾车逃跑，最后翻车身亡。蒂娜的不幸死亡，终于破获了这个贩毒集团。
