A group of young supermarket employees face the everyday challenges of the branch. Under the direction of branch manager Thorsten, the employees try to cope with all catastrophes and dramas, such as stealing employees, a mouse plague or dissatisfied customers, from store opening to closing time. After Rieke slept on New Years Eve with Nils and this still remains to Lydia and her moves to Munich, Rieke commits suicide at the end of tablets.
