Yusuke, Jo, Megumi, Kenji, Gou and Rui are students at Academia but the latter three decide to turn bad and join forces with the evil army Volt. When the defectors return, their three friends are forced to combat them as Choujuu Sentai Liveman. With the help of an android ally named Colon and a few others along the way, the Liveman must save the world and their friends.

Hyakujuu Sentai Gaoranger VS Super Sentai is a 2001 Super Sentai Series V-Cinema movie which celebrates the 25th anniversary of the Super Sentai Series. It features a team up of the protagonists of Hyakujuu Sentai Gaoranger with previous heroes of the Super Sentai Series over its twenty-five year history. It is the first vs. movie, followed by Boukenger vs. Super Sentai, in which the current team do not team up with the previous team, rather a veteran team composed of Rangers from various Sentai.

【ストーリー】
杉野洋子(伊藤麻衣子)はOLの23歳。横山(石黒賢)と石田(嶋大輔)二人の性格の異なる大学時代からの友達がいる。ふたりとも洋子に好意を抱いていたが、洋子は真面目で直情型の横山に魅かれる。そして洋子は昨年横山のプロポーズを承ける。一年後の夏、横山と洋子は結婚式場探しで大忙し。そんな中で洋子は心にふっきれない思いを抱き始める。平凡な男性との結婚は本当に幸福なのだろうかと・・・。洋子と横山は疲れた足どりでアパートに戻ったが、一方的に体を求め命令口調の横山に怒りを爆発させ洋子は部屋を飛び出してしまう・・・。
