「サバイバルファミリー」「マスカレード・ホテル」など話題作に多数出演している若手俳優の泉澤祐希が主演を務めた中編作品。2017年・第18回伊参スタジオ映画祭のシナリオ大賞を受賞した脚本を映画化し、18年・第5回新人監督映画祭では中編部門グランプリを受賞。監督は、映画会社勤務を経て監督デビューをつかんだ樋口幸之助。素人お笑いライブへの初出演を控えた会社員の新堂と、相方でフリーターの勝田。新堂はプロの芸人への憧れを抱いていたが、ライブ前日に偶然出会った人妻に恋してしまう。一方、借金返済のため優勝賞金を狙う勝田は、恋人にマッサージチェアをプレゼントしたいと言う祖父のために奔走する羽目になり……。19年8月、同じく伊参スタジオ映画祭シナリオ大賞受賞作の「正しいバスの見分けかた」（監督：高橋名月）と2本立てで劇場公開。
