A murder mystery told in one-minute clips — one for each day of the year — filmed specifically for the SEGA Dreamcast console. It tells the story of Nao Tsunoda, a 16-year-old schoolgirl who moves to Tokyo’s Grauenheim apartment complex. One day, Nao’s life turns into a nightmare when she suddenly discovers the headless corpse of her neighbor on the roof of the house — and a chain of brutal murders continues, becoming clear that a psychopath is hunting the apartment building's inhabitants.

劇作家・清水邦夫と当時まだTVディレクターだった田原総一朗の共同脚本・共同監督による鮮烈な一編。田原も清水も同じ大学から岩波映画社に入社した先輩と後輩同士である。桃井かおりがろうあ者の少女役で本格的デビューを飾り、その美しくふくよかな裸体は当時の若い観客たちをワクワクさせた。また、当時新進気鋭の写真家・加納典明や歌手のカルメン・マキが出演し、話題をまいた作品でもある。オリンピック候補として挙げられた棒高跳びをあきらめて、次のスポーツとしてかっぱらいを選んだ主人公。彼が、北陸の地をさまよい歩きながら出会った身体障害者の兄弟との心の交流をみずみずしいタッチで描いた、一種のロード・ムービー。

A submissive hooker goes about her trade, suffering abuse at the hands of Japanese salarymen and Yakuza types. She's unhappy about her work, and is apparently trying to find some sort of appeasement for the fact that her lover has married.
