A paranormal investigator is caught up in an unusual criminal revenge case – the guilty one is always a goldfish. One death follows another, always different and very violent. The causes lie far back in human history.

Although 23 year old Yamada Naoko is a "super" magician, she is continously fired and constantly hounded by her landlady for the rent being late. After being fired once again, her boss shows her an ad of a physics professor, a non-believer of all things magical, offering money to anyone who can prove to him that magic is real. Desperately needing the money, Naoko accepts the challenge, which is how she comes to meet Professor Ueda. Falling prey to her simple magic tricks, Ueda is impressed, and enlists Naoko to help him uncover the tricks behind a local cult. Their hilarious antics, along with those of police officer Yabe, leads them onto further mysteries, all with tricks needing to be solved in sort of an "X-Files" meets "Scooby-Doo"...

Serial killer Shinju Shinagawa , called "Shinagawa Pierrot" for her clown makeup at arrest 3 years ago, remained silent during her first trial. Child consultation center worker Arata Natsume suddenly gets a request from Takuto Yamashita, the child of one of the serial killer's victims, who informs him that he's been corresponding with Shinagawa in his name in order to find out what she did with his father's missing head. Arata pretends to be an elite civil servant but finds that the Shinagawa he meets is different from the one he expected. When she realizes he isn't the sender of the letters, she goes to leave. In a panic, Arata, who never planned on getting married, blurts out "Let's get married!"

This film is adapted from the novel of the same name, which tells the story of a new writer, Kayo Nakajima, who debuted with the worst debut in history by winning an award with a former idol. 中部日本放送創立60周年と名古屋青年会議所設立60周年の記念番組として制作されたスペシャルドラマで、EXILEのNAOTOが演じる加藤龍彦と水沢奈子が演じる仲村麻衣のラブコメディである。地元名古屋出身の堤幸彦が監督を務めロケも全て名古屋で行われた。出演者も主要出演者の中で主人公であるNAOTO以外は愛知県出身者で占め、ロケ地も名古屋テレビ塔や名古屋港水族館、大須など名古屋に住む人間にとってはお馴染みのスポットが数多く登場する。また、主人公の実家で舞台のひとつでもあるきしめん屋の壁にはドラゴンズグッズが飾られており、メニューにもドラゴンズの選手の名前を付けるなど、名古屋色が強いものとなっている。このほか、エンドロールに表示される番組関係者の名前を出身地別に赤・名古屋人、黄・愛知県出身者、青・東海人、白・無関係に色分けするなど、最後まで地元を意識した作りとなっている。

朝日电视台宣布开拍新剧《下北Sundays》，并请来上户彩担任女主角。剧集以日本的「演剧之街」下北泽为背景，上户彩饰演一名以演戏为志愿的大学生里中唯香。
导演堤幸彦表示剧集强调的是贫困，因此上户彩在剧中会住四十年旧楼、吃面包皮充饥，还要穿上「烂衫」出场。而上户彩对于能与堤幸彦合作，表现得非常兴奋，并表示会完全听从导演的指示。

「明日の記憶」「2LDK」の三浦有為子が脚本を手がける本作。ある男の葬儀後にアトリエで出くわした女性3人が、その男に3股をかけられていたと知ったことから展開する、“精子バンク”が題材の会話劇となっている。
