Chen and his girlfriend Song encounter the legendary yellow raincoat ghost in the mountains. Song dies tragically every night, and Chen must keep reliving this miserable day over and over.

After a career-ending injury, Taekwondo star Zhiyao falls into gambling and is forced to become a prison administrator, tasked with overseeing the notorious boss Chihuahua under the watchful eye of instructor Jiang Yijie. Amid the harsh, absurd conditions, Zhiyao and his colleagues form bonds of friendship, trust, and love, finding meaning and resilience in their challenging work.

故事取材自蓝正龙国中补习班老师，已故纪录片导演陈俊志的故事（电影将时空置换成高中），三剑客虽未必是自己和当时补习班同学的经历，却也是从身边的其他人的经验做发想，借此融合成现在这样一个带点荒唐、充满热血，看到最后令人不禁鼻酸的故事。
