バクダン製造という風変りな商売に腕を振うビッコの青年、もぐらこと五味川一郎は、女に異常なほどの興味を抱いていた。裸女の姿を頭に浮かべながら盛り場を闊歩する一郎は、すれ違う女に声をかけるが、すべて失敗。京都じゃダメだとばかり、ご自漫のポンコツ・カーで東京・羽田へやって来た。そんな一郎を日本の麻薬密売組織の一人と誤解したスウェーデン娘の運び屋イソグリット・ヤコブセンがポンコツ・カーに乗り込んで来た。棚からボタ餅とばかり一郎は互いに言葉が通じぬままに一路京都へ。イングリットは一郎の密室に連れこまれた時、始めて不審を抱き、逃げようとするが、すでに遅く、自制力を失い野獣と化した一郎に犯されてしまう。その日から監禁状態となったイングリットの一郎に対する気持ちは、軽蔑から憎悪へと変っていた。逆に、すっかり彼女の肉体のトリコとなった一郎は、炊事、洗濯、買い物と彼女のために尽くすのだった。ある日、一郎が街へ出たスキに脱け出したイングリットはネオン輝く都会をさまよい歩くうちにヒッピー詩人神山という、語学堪能な男と知り合った。神山は彼女をマリファナ・パーティーへと誘った。すっかり神山を信用したイングリットだったが、やがて彼らの罠にハメられたことを知る。散々凌辱された挙句、朝の街に放り出されてしまった。その頃、一郎は狂ったように彼女を探していたが、運よく京都の街をさまようイングリットを見つけた。再び一郎の部屋に戻って来たイングリットの心には、いつしか一郎を慕う気持が宿っていた。二人きりの生活が幾日か続いたある日、ニュースでイングリットが麻薬犯罪容疑で警察に追われていることを知った一郎は、彼女の身をかばおうと必死になるが、時すでに遅く、日本の密売組織にアジトがバレてしまった。さらに警察がイングリットを連行しようとした。「わいらの城、壊さへん！」怒りをこめて、一郎は手製のバクダンを投げつけた。が、バクダンは逃げ惑う警官たちの前に、不発のまま転がる。一郎の顔が絶望に歪んだ。「俺はどこまで駄目な男なんや、俺の人生、不発やった」と、同時に、凄まじい大爆発が起った……。
