节目的长度约为一小时，在摄影棚内有观众现场观看，东部时间每周五晚十点直播。节目源自于洛杉矶CBS电视台的第33摄影棚（“Bob Barker摄影棚”）。春季（二月到五月上旬）约播出12集，秋季（八月下旬到十一月）也播出数量相当的集数。由于节目针对的是时事，所以HBO电视台一般在节目间歇的月份不会安排重播，但偶尔如果有一周节目不播的话，会安排重播之前的节目。
