所以麦克贝已经在摩拳擦掌了，一个针对2012年的科幻片正式启动了，本片的类型是家庭动作，他相信好莱坞的同行很快就会跟风。故事围绕在玛雅历最终日前外出度假的一个家庭开始。

该剧由黄金编剧搭档Roberto Orci和Alex Kurtzman打造，El Rey电视网的创始人Robert Rodriguez亲自导演首集。该剧将在三月底开机拍摄，在世界杯足球赛期间播出。这是一部描述足球明星暗中充当中情局间谍的动作剧。据称这是真人真事，但主人公在现实生活中是个棒球运动员（El Rey主要面向说西班牙语的拉美裔观众，它们更喜欢足球）。主人公Antonio “Matador” Bravo（Gabriel Luna）表面上是深受大众喜爱的足球明星，事实上他有着另外一个身份：他是一个不为人知的中情局绝密部门的特工，正在执行一项深度卧底任务。由于他在体育界声名显赫，这让他有机会接触腐败和邪恶圈子里的实权人物，但他也面临巨大的危险。
