为赖的姐姐井上和枝（浅田美代子）是诊所的护士，和她一起走在路上的时候，为赖为能看到路人的病症而痛苦。因为告诉重病的人他的病情，反而还会被怀疑别有居心。就在为赖和和枝分道之后，发现了一个显露出犯因症的男人。为赖看见那个男人向和枝走的方向去了，于是报警之后自己也跟了上去。将危险告知和枝后为赖疏导周围的人去了安全的店，那个男人就开始动粗。为赖迅速开始为受伤的人进行诊治。这时，接到报告的早濑顺一郎（伊藤淳史）警官抵达现场后向男子开枪，控制了局面。
因事件受伤的人被送往了白神阳儿（伊藤英明）经营的诊所。白神听急救人员说了现场的情况，对为赖也有了兴趣。白神开始对伤员进行手术，然而不知道为什么竟然允许负责扫除的井原前来参观手术。
在现场调查的早濑得知为赖在案发前就报警了。为什么为赖能在事件发生前就知道呢？早濑对此满怀兴趣……
