The film is set amidst a war in the French countryside between farmers and members of a gentlemen’s hunting club, sparked by wild boars ravaging local crops, which leads to a murder. A police officer is pushed to the brink of insanity as he leads the investigation a year later.

The film follows Vincent who works the night shift on the Grand Ciel building site, which is set to be a futuristic district. When a worker disappears, Vincent and his colleagues suspect the team leader of hiding the body somewhere on site. But Vincent is soon party to strange manifestations, and another worker disappears.
