In the future, humanity has the necessary keys to use energy responsibly, but is faced with new moral dilemmas.

Each morning, whatever the day, four friends meet at a bar to have some beers and fix the world their own way, by criticizing and ranting against everything and everyone. They have something in common: they are all unemployed. Well, all but one.

Mallory is the head of an elite government-run strike force dedicated to combating the supernatural. Her team includes the drag queen Vena Cava, an explosives expert; a mute, pre-teen telepath capable of possessing others named Talking Tina; and an armed governmental agent named Durand.

大卫是一名“信童”，骑着摩托呼啸在大街上，维加却是一个生活在富裕家庭的郁郁“君子”型的无业人，他的堂弟弗兰克是一个好于表现的帅小子，其生活态度用中国人看是不羁的，三人组成的乐队即将被“华纳”签约，这意味着命运的上升，但是“华纳”看中的是主唱弗兰克...在准备许久的演出终于开始时,维加邂逅了酒吧间的女子,但是她没有接受维加的邀请在演出时出现,失落的维加在演唱结束后也为弗兰克的出风头而不满；大卫的女朋友为了乐队被“华纳”签上，不惜委身于猎头，而最终乐队依旧解散，弗兰克一人在演唱着他自己的前程，而大卫、维加走在在自己的状态中生活着。
