In 2008, an indiscriminate killing which shocked the whole world was carried out in the street of Akihabara. Director Yûsaku Matsumoto was inspired by the Akihabira killing to look at random acts of violence occurring in Japanese society and exploring the aftermath of one such occurrence, and the building-up to another one. By following several people—perpetrators, victims and family of both alike, he tells a human story about inhumane acts.

芦屋市制施行80周年を記念して製作される本作の主人公は、新任栄養士として芦屋の小学校に赴任することになった野々村菜々。予算やアレルギーなどの問題に対処しながら、菜々が子供たちにおいしい給食を食べてもらおうと奮闘する姿が描かれる。

モノクロ、セリフなしで描かれる「映画（窒息）」の舞台は、言葉が失われたはるか遠い時代の荒廃した世界。廃墟のような建物に住む1人の女が、原始的な自給自足の生活を送っていた。女は狩猟で蓄えた食料を行商人と物々交換したり、山賊に襲われたりしながら、不測の事態にもめげることなくたくましく生きている。ある日、女の仕掛けた罠に1人の若い男が掛かった。若い男は女になつき、2人は共同生活を始める。そんな日常が続く中、暴力・セックス・食欲といった人間の欲望が次第に明らかに。そして世界は崩壊に向かって動き始める。

イケメンとグルメを掛け合わせた、ハイブリッド新感覚ドラマ。乙女ゲーム愛好者でイケメンをこよなく愛す池田好美（２８）は文芸誌の編集者。超少食で食べる事が苦手だが、急遽グルメ誌を担当することに。食に全く興味のなかった好美だったが、イケメンの新人社員・細見賢人（２２）と食事をしたときに才能が開花！彼女はイケメンと食事をするとムラムラし、食欲が増進するのだった。初めて食欲を感じた好美は少食改善のため“イケメンごはん”を追求することを誓う…。

本作は江戸川乱歩の短編小説を現代風にアレンジし映画化する「赤い部屋」シリーズの第2弾。「畸形の天女」を映画化した「裸の天使 赤い部屋」は、妻子を持ち社会的地位も築いた男が、1人の少女と出会い愛欲の地獄へ堕ちていくエロティックサスペンスだ。

可爱的女孩神高凉香（木南晴夏 饰）是香川县高松市美术馆的一名专业馆员，这一天她有幸被任命为前卫艺术家安藤行人（五十岚信次郎 Mickey Curtis 饰）作品回顾展的企划负责人。凉香对此感到非常兴奋，因为安藤不仅是她的老乡，更是她倍为敬仰的大艺术家。只不过安藤一向脾气乖戾，不愿与别人交流，所以凉香很长时间都是和安藤的女儿联系回顾展事宜。几经周折，凉香好不容易见到了偶像，可是安藤对回顾展全然没有半点兴趣，他并不满意自己过往的作品，甚至坦承那些都是为了金钱和名誉而敷衍出来的垃圾。灰心丧气的凉香向老人讲述了最初看到安藤作品时的感动，而老人也终于敞开心怀，讲述了自己最初的创作以及和一块怀表、一个女人的渊源……
本片为高松琴平电气铁道正式运行一百周年纪念作品。

『松本清張ミステリー時代劇』（まつもとせいちょうみすてりーじだいげき）は、2015年4月から9月まで、BSジャパン開局15周年特別企画として、BSパワー調査の調査期間（毎月第1月曜日から2週間）の火曜日21:00 - 21:54に放送予定のテレビ時代劇。
松本清張の時代小説連作集『無宿人別帳』『彩色江戸切絵図』『紅刷り江戸噂』に収録された短編を原作とし、1話完結方式・全12話の放送が予定されている。
佐々木蔵之介が、番組導入部の水先案内人を務める。

Since they were both five, Ryosuke has been stalked by Momoko - the ugliest girl in the village. Her love for Ryosuke is so boundless that she has her face surgically altered to suit his taste - but still he wants nothing to do with her. 1994年に25歳の若さでこの世を去った、漫才コンビ「ベイブルース」の河本栄得を描いたドラマ。相方だった高山トモヒロが、河本の死去から15年を経て、ともに過ごした日々などをつづった同名小説を、自らのメガホンで映画化した。高校同級生の河本と高山は、ともにNSC（吉本総合芸術学院）の門を叩き、漫才コンビを結成。卒業後にコンビ名を「ベイブルース」とし、上方お笑い大賞やABCお笑い新人グランプリなどで新人賞を次々と受賞。将来有望な若手として注目される。漫才に対する姿勢は誰よりも厳しく、時に高山を怒鳴りつけることもあった河本だが、94年秋、テレビのロケ中に体調不良を訴えて入院。それからわずか2週間で帰らぬ人となってしまう。「ベイブルース」とはNSCで同期だった「雨上がり決死隊」から宮迫博之も友情出演。

Constantly on the hunt and suffering from hallucinations that drive his violent nature, an unnamed man is capturing women and savagely beating them to death. Meanwhile, a woman is luring men into a violent end, by way of her knife. Driven by the same force to make the opposite sex suffer, the killers’ fates intertwine. The two must face off in a battle to the death, in which they are forced to reveal the horrible truth behind their addiction to murder.
“Brutal” takes an interesting approach to its visuals, drawing heavy influence from Western “Grindhouse” films, using a filter to make the footage appear grainy, damaged, and with light and color fluctuations. Unfortunately, the visual styling ends up feeling misguided, as other than applying the filter it does not imitate any other aspects of the “Grindhouse” genre. Despite trying to dirty up the film, it is apparent it was shot on digital. The cinematography is also a step above most “Grindhouse” productions, with Takashi Hirose proving he has talent behind the camera. Exterior shots to those taking place in small spaces are all competently framed, lit, and transition well. The decision to add an effect on top of the work hurts the film’s imagery and even gives a sense of desperation to try to capture a certain type of nostalgia with the audience, instead of relying on its own strengths. It is unfortunate when one creative choice can hurt a production so much.
The story of “Brutal” is simple but effective, it does attempt some sort of social commentary about the violent nature of men and women, but it does not offer enough depth into the subject to justify the amount of violence on display. The film does end on a strong note with an interesting twist, with a reveal that is bound to gross some out, while giving others a chuckle. In spite of its simple nature, those who enjoy films that make them somewhat uncomfortable and enjoy the challenge of getting through some ultra-violence, “Brutal” poses a fun and entertaining challenge in that regard.

阪神・淡路大震災から２０年の来年１月１７日、サンテレビ（神戸市中央区）が震災をテーマにしたドラマ「神戸在住」を放送する。震災を体験していない女子大生が、被災者らとの触れ合いを通じて成長していく姿を、当時の記憶とともに伝える。

秋葉原無差別殺傷事件から８年。事件で母親を殺された地下アイドル、家出して秋葉原で生きて行こうとする女子高生、怒りを秋葉原にぶつけようとする配達員。秋葉原を通して現代の日本が浮き彫りになる。母親を８年前の秋葉原無差別殺傷事件で亡くした桜田美沙。美沙に父はやり場のない怒りから手を挙げる。美沙は、秋葉原の地下アイドル活動に励む一方で、所属事務所が経営するJK/リフレ店で働いていた。秋葉原でアイドルとして光輝くことによって、亡くなった母親にもう一度会えるのではないかと信じ、それが唯一の希望として生きる美沙。しかし、先が見えない生活に限界を感じた彼女に、やり場のない怒りが込み上げてくる…。 高校生の里恵は父と祖父と３人で暮らしているが、母が父と離婚し家を出て行って以来、里恵は父とはほとんど会話をしておらす、里恵の生活はどんどん荒れていく。里恵の父は、秋葉原で美沙を偶然目撃し、娘の里恵と重ね合わせてしまったのか、地下アイドルのライブにのめり込む。そんな父に激しく反抗し交際相手とうまくいかない里恵も、秋葉原の街へ何かを求めて向かう…。 秋葉原の運送会社でバイトしている大橋健はスナックに勤務している母親と二人暮らし。父親は２年前に家を飛び出して以来音信不通。母親の金銭トラブルに巻き込まれ健の人生の歯車が狂い始める。健は公衆電話から配達先に嫌がらせの電話をかけるが次第にエスカレートしていく。秋葉原の街・事件を通して登場人物たちが苦悩しつつも、絶望の中から微かな希望を見出し生きようとする群像劇。

全国の警察署長のピンチヒッターとして、各地を転々としている風間昭平（北大路欣也）。今回、風間は四国最東端の街、徳島県阿南市の阿南中央署へ赴任することになった。風間は、副署長の河田慎哉(近藤芳正）から署長専属の秘書官を用意したと言われ、地域課の清水由紀(東ちづる)を紹介される。清水は徳島県内の数々の所轄署を渡り歩いている女性警官だった。そんな中、午尾（ごお）の滝で男性の変死体が発見されたと一報が入り、風間は清水とともに現場へ。遺体の背中には刺し傷があり、首には絞められた痕が残っていた。風間は遺体の手に付着した土が、殺害現場周辺のものではないことに気づく。さらに被害者の遺留品の手帳には不思議な数字が書き込まれていた。
