Hungarian Black & White version of "The Postman Always Rings Twice". A masterpiece. Excellent photography, performances, direction. This is a slow movie, with quite a few statical moments, but with an amazing intensity. The silence is another factor magistrally employed. Extremely different to Hollywood versions. Is a worth watching movie.

Irimias, a villager thought to be dead, returns and, unbeknownst to the locals, is a police informant. In a scheme, he persuades the villagers to form a commune with him.
