A middle school teacher's life is thrown into turmoil when dozens of students dye their hair gold and his girlfriend suddenly proposes marriage, triggering a media frenzy and government intervention, forcing him to team up with the student mastermind behind the hair trend to navigate the chaos and confront his own journey from a jaded, reluctant adult to a mature, responsible one.

Set in the early 1900s, the story follows two Japanese girls chasing their dreams: Fujiko, an aspiring artist, and Chizuru, an aspiring ballerina. They first cross paths in Yokohama, then, following a fateful reunion, pursue their dreams together in Paris.

In Kyoto, soon after the war, Ichika strives to save her family's long established ryoten restaurant from financial crisis. In order to do so, she marries Yamaguchi Amane, who is 15 years younger, in a marriage of convenience.

本剧改编自清水玲子所著同名漫画，以科学警察研究所的法医第九研究室，通称“第九”为舞台，利用特殊的MRI技术再现死者的生前记忆。拥有罕见容貌、惊人记忆力和敏锐洞察力的薪刚（板垣李光人 饰），是第九的创始成员兼室长。由于某个事件，既是好友又是同事的铃木克洋（中岛裕翔 饰）去世了，在薪的面前，被分配到了一模一样的新人搜查员青木一行（中岛裕翔 饰）。两人看到了死者直到临终都隐藏着的“想法”和“秘密”，虽然心中抱有罪恶感和纠葛，但仍为解决难案而奋斗，成为无可替代的搭档。

University student Kuno Totono is the type who constantly questions what is taken for granted in society and develops his own theories based on his vast knowledge and unique set of values. One day in autumn, the police come to see him. His university schoolmate has been murdered at a park nearby and the police apparently regard Totono with suspicion. He is asked to come with them for questioning. In the interrogation room, the police are manipulated by Totono who tends to digress from the topic and poke at their contradictions. He even correctly guesses that one of them is troubled about not getting along with the wife and ends up giving advice. However, Totono’s fingerprints are eventually discovered on the murder weapon.

Two men, torn by the moral dilemma of uncovering others' secrets for justice, work to solve unsolved cases using special MRI technology that can reproduce living memories of the dead.

世界的に評価される村上春樹の傑作長編『ねじまき鳥クロニクル』を、イスラエルの奇才 インバル・ピントと気鋭のアミール・クリガーの演出、演劇界の俊英 藤田貴大の脚本で舞台化し、音楽を大友良英が手掛けた創造性豊かな意欲作。2020年の初演時に、公演期間の短縮を余儀なくされた伝説のステージが、ついに今秋11月に再演される。



初演から引き続き、主人公の岡田トオル役は成河と渡辺大知が二人で一人の人間の多面性を演じ、村上ワールドにいざなう不思議な女子高生・笠原メイ役を門脇 麦が演じる。



圧倒的な悪として存在する綿谷ノボル役は、初演で衝撃的なダンスシーンを見せた大貫勇輔と、新たに、バレエダンサーとして世界的に活躍し現在は俳優としても多くの舞台に出演する首藤康之がダブルキャストで務める。
トオルを不思議な世界へ導く加納マルタ・クレタ姉妹役は、昨年退団した宝塚歌劇団で娘役として歌・ダンス・芝居の技量が高く評価された音くり寿が新たに挑む。
さらに初演でこの壮大な物語をクリエイターと共に創り上げた松岡広大、成田亜佑美、さとうこうじ、吹越満、銀粉蝶が再演でも演じ・歌い・踊り、表現していく。
またインバル・ピントによる唯一無二の振付を、加賀谷一肇、川合ロン、東海林靖志、鈴木美奈子、藤村港平、皆川まゆむ、陸、渡辺はるか、８名の表現力豊かなコンテンポラリーダンサーが魅せる。
観客を異世界へ導く生演奏は大友良英、イトケン、江川良子の３名が続投する。

Yaemori Alice is a chef with autism spectrum disorder (ASD) whose favorite phrase is “Cooking is chemistry.” She’s not good at communicating with people, but has an amazing memory, and holds a vast amount of knowledge, especially in her favorite subject, chemistry. A mysterious young man called Sakae Kousei shows up at the popular restaurant “Alice no Okate” looking for a live-in part time job, which is run by Alice’s childhood friend. Although Kousei seems abrasive and unfriendly, he is kind at heart, and though at first he is confused by Alice’s actions and words, he gradually comes to support her. Under the watchful eye of her protective father Shingo, an openly gay university professor, Alice works at her own pace and warms everyone’s hearts with delicious food. However, there is a big secret about her upbringing and her family that even she herself didn’t know about.

One day, his father, who is the head of Nishi Ward in Saitama City, tells him to return to Japan and rebuild the local Kodama Symphony Orchestra. He returns to Japan and begins to rebuild the local symphony in Saitama City. He tries to recruit Tanioka Hatsune to play the violin on stage once again

日本映画・映像振興を目的とした文化庁委託事業「若手映画作家育成プロジェクト（New Directions in Japanese Cinema＝ndjc）」の2012年度に製作された5作品のうちの1本。出身地の京都を舞台に描いた自主制作「カントリーガール」（10）が劇場公開もされた小林達也の監督作品。

若手俳優・岡山天音、門脇麦の主演で、井上靖氏の短編小説を映画化した「死と恋と波と」が、4月24～28日に開催される第32回釜山国際短編映画祭インターナショナル・コンペティション部門に、正式出品されることがわかった。また、今夏に凱旋上映されることも決定している。
「ピュ～ぴる」「トイレのピエタ」の松永大司監督がメガホンをとり、自殺を決心した一組の男女の葛藤（かっとう）を通じて、愛と死を叙情的に切り取った短編映画。「チョコリエッタ」「鬼灯さん家のアネキ」「人狼ゲーム」など出演作を重ねてきた岡山が杉千之助、「愛の渦」の実力派・門脇が、千之助と偶然出会う自殺志願者・辻村那美を演じている。
主演のふたりは「これまで無意識的に逃げて来たものと向き合わされ、自分の中の指針を作ってもらった作品になりました」（岡山）、「撮影期間は短い作品ですが濃厚な時間でしたし、それは画面にも確実に映っていると思います。そして何よりこの作品を通して松永監督と知り合えたことが嬉しいです」（門脇）と充実感をにじませた。
松永監督は、井上作品の映画化に踏み切った理由を「原作である『死と恋と波と』を読んだ時、主人公の男の『人間は死さえ選べる』という言葉が印象に残り、そしてその男が見知らずの女との出会いから『生きてみようかな』と思ってしまうところにとても人間味を感じ興味を持った」と説明。そして「岡山天音、門脇麦という魅力的な役者と共に映像化にトライさせてもらった事はとても幸せなことです」とコメントを寄せている。
