The story revolves around 29-year-old Baptiste, a manager at a FNAC store who’s in a relationship with Samia when he first makes the acquaintance of Cookie Kunty, a young drag queen from the Parisian night scene who immediately mesmerises our protagonist. Initially motivated by the idea of a photography project revolving around Cookie, he immerses himself into this world and learns everything there is to know about it, eventually embarking upon a relationship with Quentin, the young man behind the drag queen. Baptiste is overwhelmed by this encounter, which he keeps secret, and realises that it’s just as possible to desire a boy as it is the female character he embodies.
