The Condor Heroes 95 is a Hong Kong television series adapted from Louis Cha's novel The Return of the Condor Heroes. It was first broadcast on TVB Jade in Hong Kong in 1995. Many of the cast from The Legend of the Condor Heroes reprised their roles in this series, such as Lau Dan and Wayne Lai. 影片是古天乐跟叶伟信，继五年前《杀破狼・贪狼》后再次合作，五年前的合作为古天乐带来香港电影金像奖影帝宝座，这次再合作绝对叫人期待！古天乐表示：“事隔五年再次同叶伟信合作，不一样的题材，一样的默契。《谁变走了大佛》的剧本，可算是我从影而来，其中一部最叫我感动的，拍摄已经完成，自己非常期待。” 叶伟信则表示：“三十年前，我曾看过魔术师变走自由神像的表演。后来就觉得，如果我们要拍一部电影，要将什么变走，会有像征意义？我们想到了大佛，不知能否由大佛开始，想到一个故事？“魔术”效果中，其中的一种原理，就是出现和消失，将东西变出来，将东西变走。就好像人和事一样，也是不停地出现和消失，就好像你遇上了一些很坏的事，它总有一天会消失的；或者你现在很快乐，过得很好，但这快乐也许有一天都会消失。当快乐消失时，你是否只能选择痛苦地面对？《谁变走了大佛》，它整个故事就是关于怎样去释怀，放下，一如佛学里说的“应无所住而生其心”，不为一个念头执著，紧抓着不放。”
