原版剧在WB播了八季，由Holly Marie Combs﹑Alyssa Milano﹑Rose McGowan（代替第三季离开的Shannen Doherty）主演，过去曾有类似模式的剧集《东镇女巫 Eastwick》﹑《东区女巫 Witches Of East End》，但谈不上成功。
