Como parte del día a día, la cultura moderna incluye como normal el consumo de drogas. Ante este entorno, los gobiernos de países con mayor grado de adicción se están planteando cambiar su medida de censura radical por una comercializada y legal más abierta. Dados los vanos intentos por una conciencia objetiva sobre la situación, este documental pretende dejar de lado los tabúes en torno a la falta de información y al atractivo juvenil de las sustancias, para acercar los verdaderos problemas e incluso sus cualidades paliativas en enfermos crónicos y severos.
La película destinará un porcentaje de sus beneficios a la Fundación Hay salida y Fundación Recal, ambas llevan años ayudando a personas con este tipo de problemas.
