《鲛鮹岛/Isola degli uomini pesce, L'/The Island of the Fishmen》（1979），意大利导演Sergio Martino导演的这部融合了各种娱乐元素（尤其是Giallo film风格的配乐）的海岛冒险电影，绝对是一部极其优秀、精彩、被大多数人忽视了的杰作。此片据IMDB有三个版本：Sweden:93 min | USA:81 min | West Germany:85 min，现在已经发行了DVD-93分钟最长的那个完整版本。我不知道IMDB上那个令人发指的“User Rating: 3.2/10 (328 votes) ”分是怎么搞出来的，但我敢说那些给本分打了低分，而致使它最终被搞出了这么一个令人难以置信的平均分的人，绝对都是有眼不识泰山。此片不仅在可看性上精彩到了无以复加，即使作为一部典型的类型片来分析，在类型程式运用，剪辑、拍摄技术，声效处理等各方面上，也都是继承了Giallo film 6、70年代的优秀传统经验，拍得极其漂亮的。而且本片还可说是一部非常地道的具有“90年代之前风格与味道”的古典式冒险/惊竦电影，因为它有时候不仅在恐怖效果，在男女主人公人物形象塑造、洋溢的异域情调、实景画面拍摄风格和科幻/幻想——乃至浪漫主义的冒险奇遇、抒情思维上也都是颇为“老式”的，也就是说——都是优美的。
