据美国综艺网报道，电影《尖峰时刻》《二见钟情》的制作人亚瑟·M·萨基森与中国阳光媒体集团创始人吴征（杨澜丈夫）有意合作拍摄名为《泰坦尼克密码》（暂译，Titanic Code）的新片。
据悉，该片将会以泰坦尼克号沉没事件为背景，揭开这起灾难背后的阴谋。剧本由《全民公敌》的编剧大卫·马可尼执笔，导演和主演人选还未敲定，计划于2017年初正式开拍，同年底或2018年初上映。
作为灾难影片界的超级IP，詹姆斯·卡梅隆1997年执导的《泰坦尼克号》无疑是影迷心中永恒的经典，尤其在中国观众心中有特殊情怀。此番中美合拍的影片，也正是基于这个主题，从另外一个侧面来描绘沉船事件，甚至把撞冰山视作是一次阴谋。
