Young Jim Hawkins finds himself serving with pirate captain Long John Silver in search of a buccaneer's treasure, in this short adaptation of Robert Louis Stevenson's classic tale.

In 19th-century London, the good Dr Jekyll transforms into the devilish Mr Blood via transfused serum obtained from a brain after a mass murder.

杰克和律师朋友乌特森（Utterson）到歌舞厅庆祝他单身生活的结束，歌舞厅台柱性感撩人的露西.哈里斯（Lucy Harris）为观众献上极富挑逗性的歌曲，受到观众欢迎。她虽然名噪一时，却因为特立独行而开罪老板，老板常常因为小事对她进行体罚。乌特森和一位妓女离开，杰克找到露西，表达出对她的好感，但是杰克表示只与她保持朋友关系，因为自己即将结婚，他把自己名片留给露西，告诉她如果有需要可以按照名片上的地址来找他，随即离开。
乌特森陪同杰克回家，杰克表示自己找到了一个合适的试验品，乌特森告诫他不要鲁莽行事后离开，但杰克仍然坚持自己的试验计划，为自己注射了分裂人格的药剂。药剂生效，一分钟后他转变成野蛮凶残的爱德华.海德，他在伦敦街头行凶，并袭击了露西。
接下来一周，杰克如人间蒸发般不见踪影，所有人来与所探望他，都找不到他，仆人告诉乌特森，他一直把自己锁在实验室里，乌特森再度警告杰克，但杰克置之不理。露西拿着杰克的名片找到杰克，她背上被严重抓伤，她透露是一个叫海德的人干的。杰克十分震惊，但不敢透露事情，露西爱上了杰克，强行吻了他然后离开。
当晚，鲁波特主教从红灯区玩乐出来，遭到海德袭击和杀害。
第二幕：
杰克的反常行为让乌特森和丹弗斯先生十分担心。而此时伦敦人人都在谈论嗜血恶魔海德的凶杀，医疗投资人纷纷参加主教的葬礼，海德也混迹其中，葬礼结束后，他在街角暗杀了格罗索普和萨维奇爵士。因为连环凶杀案的发生，伦敦陷入恐慌，普鲁普斯爵士和伊丽莎白夫人也相继遭到谋杀。
因为担心杰克，艾玛闯进他的实验室，发现了他的实验纪录，她正要仔细研读，杰克赶到，阻止了秘密的暴露。艾玛注意到他沮丧而情绪低落，她希望安慰他，但杰克始终拒绝透露自己的秘密，她无奈的离开。乌特森来访，他已经开始怀疑海德和杰克有牵连，但是看到杰克如此痛苦，他不忍心继续追问。
海德再度造访露西，他告诉她自己要离开一段时间，但是绝不允许她对逃避他。露西十分恐惧，但是在一定程度上被这个疯狂的恶魔所征服。露西老板发现她和海德纠缠，于感到灾难即将来临。
乌特森再度造访杰克，亲眼目睹海德转变为杰克的过程，十分震惊，杰克在双重人格的纠缠中清醒过来，他请律师把一封信转交给露西，信中要求露西远离伦敦，避免海德的伤害。随后他决心彻底毁灭万恶的海德。
乌特森将信和钱交给露西，露西感到莫名的温暖，但是她还来不及收拾行装离开，海德就将她拦下，发现杰克的信后，他将露西杀害。他沾满鲜血回到实验室，在同一个身躯里，两个人格开始对决，杰克发誓一定要杀死海德，让整个噩梦终结。
几星期后，杰克似乎平复了海德的人格，准备和艾玛结婚，但是婚礼上，沉睡已久的海德再度爆发，他杀死在座的数位客人，并绑架艾玛，在艾玛声音的召唤下，杰克的人格复苏，他意识到自己已经无力控制海德，于是趁人不备自杀，彻底杀死了恶魔海德，同时也葬送了自己的生命。

I, Monster is a 1971 British horror film directed by Stephen Weeks (his feature debut) for Amicus Productions. It is an adaptation of Robert Louis Stevenson's The Strange Case of Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Hyde, with the main characters' names changed to Dr. Charles Marlowe and Mr. Edward Blake.
It stars Christopher Lee as the Doctor and his alter ego, and Peter Cushing as Frederick Utterson, a central character in Stevenson's original story. Mike Raven and Susan Jameson also star. It was photographed by Moray Grant, with music by Carl Davis.
It was intended to be shown in 3-D, but the process was aborted mid-filming.

Enchanted by the idea of locating treasure buried by Captain Flint, Squire Trelawney, Dr. Livesey and Jim Hawkins charter a sailing voyage to a Caribbean island. Unfortunately, a large number of Flint's old pirate crew are aboard the ship, including Long John Silver.

He can commit the most enjoyably revolting deeds, then return to his laboratory and use an antidote to change back to his original form, so that his lofty persona remains untarnished.

The film takes place before, during and immediately after the engagement party of Dr.Henry Jekyll and Miss Fanny Osborne, attended by numerous highly respectable guests (a general, a doctor, a priest, a lawyer), the last of which informs the company that a child has been murdered in the street outside. While the others watch a young dancer perform, Dr.Jekyll instructs the lawyer to alter his will, leaving everything to a certain Mr.Hyde. Shortly afterwards, the dancer is found murdered, and the guests realise that one of their number must be a maniac with a prodigious sexual appetite...

Young Jim Hawkins, while running the Benbow Inn with his mother, meets Captain Billy Bones, who dies at the inn while it is besieged by buccaneers led by Blind Pew. Jim and his mother fight off the attackers and discover Billy Bones' treasure map for which the buccaneers had come. Jim agrees to sail on the Hispaniola with Squire Trelawney and Dr. Livesey to find the treasure on a mysterious island. Upon arriving at the island, ship's cook and scalawag Long John Silver leads a mutiny of crew members who want the treasure for themselves. Jim helps the Squire and Hispaniola officers to survive the mutiny and fight back against Silver's men, who have taken over the Hispaniola.
