A documentary looking back at the thirty years since comedy legend Mr Bean landed on our screens. With classic clips and interviews from key creators, including Rowan Atkinson and Richard Curtis.

The special will look at how the film became a beloved Christmas tradition and a global sensation, with new insight into behind-the-scenes secrets and iconic scenes. The special will also examine how the COVID-19 pandemic refocused the ways we love and connect and the omnipresent acts of kindness inside our families and communities.
“The Laughter & Secrets of Love Actually: 20 Years Later – A Diane Sawyer Special” will air on Tuesday 29th November 2022 (8:00-9:00 p.m. EST), on ABC, and it will be available the next day on Hulu.

British Sitcom: 60 Years Of Laughing At Ourselves will celebrate British sitcom and take a look at the social and political context from which our favourite sitcoms grew. The film will also show clips from the nation’s most loved sitcoms and provide insight from those who made them, including Steve Coogan, James Corden and Richard Curtis.

New Hero of Comedy, also known as New Heroes of Comedy when covering more than one person, is a three-part documentary series on Channel 4, featuring the rise of famous comedians of recent times. The series started on 22 February 2008. The first episode covers the career of Ricky Gervais, the second Matt Lucas and David Walliams, and the last Sacha Baron Cohen.[1] The series received complaints before it was broadcast, with some people complaining that the people featured in the episodes are not "Heroes".
