Stephanie Harper, a rich twice divorced mother, marries handsome young Wimbledon Champ Greg Marsden. On their honeymoon in 'Eden', Greg, who has an affair with Stephanie's best friend Jilly Stewart, pushes Stephanie into a crocodile-infested river. Stephanie amazingly survives and begins to plots her revenge.

Australian lawyer David Burton agrees with reluctance to defend a group of Aboriginal people charged with murdering one of their own. He suspects the victim was targeted for violating a tribal taboo, but the defendants deny any tribal association.
