コスモ、ジョーダン・ベス、イムホフ・カーシャがイデオンを操縦するが、二つの人類は双方とも相手を異星人と呼び、恐れ、自分の星を守るために異星人を殲滅しようとして戦火を拡大させた。
コスモ達はソロ星を捨て、イデオンの母船ソロシップに乗って宇宙を逃亡する。
