市川治，是在日本动画草创时期就已经相当活跃的资深配音演员。特别是曾在长滨忠夫执导的一系列机械人动画中，为敌方的美形反派角色配音最为著名。当时他已经年过四十岁，却仍能完美诠释这些声调高亢的角色，令周遭大为惊叹。甚至在《波罗五号》发行DVD时，还能再度以70岁之龄，用当年担任的“海尼尔王子”一角配音声调来录制广告旁白。
