20,000 Leagues Under the Sea - Review

2022 CULT MOVIE CHALLENGE WEEK 26: PSYCHOTRONIC ENCYLOPEDIA WEEK Maybe a little bit snoozy in the all day Saturday matinee way a lot of Disney live-action flicks of the time tended to be, but the effects work is top notch and some great character acting from James Mason and Peter Lorre. Kirk Douglas's main character feels like an unnecessary 1950s handsome/bland male lead for the story, but I found it easy to focus on the more interesting visuals and production design instead.
