Xu Mu, a planner at Shangxin Advertising Company, has just failed her sixth blind date. In her view, finding a partner isn't like shopping; just considering conditions is too materialistic. During a proposal meeting with a client, Xu Mu unexpectedly meets her high school classmate, Xie Shi. He has changed over the years and is now a cold and scheming client director. Due to a drunken misunderstanding, Xie Shi becomes Xu Mu’s publicly announced boyfriend on social media. Faced with congratulations from friends and family, Xu Mu is in a tough spot. The two decide to pretend to be a couple and start living together. As they spend more time together, the awkwardness fades, and feelings start to grow.
