《雜寶藏經》為一部文學性極強的佛經故事，經中保存豐富的印度民間故事；本書針對《雜寶藏經》121則故事內容，作全面性的整理介紹，以展現其思想特色，探討不同的故事結構；並論述本經故事與文學及藝術的關係和影響，藉以顯現佛教文學的璀燦與價值。
