干练开朗的女孩竹村凛凛子（吉高由里子 饰）出生在东京下町一个买豆腐的普通家庭中，但是她自幼怀有强烈的正义感，最终沿着这条路不断奋进，成为横滨地方检察厅港南支部的一名检察官。可是坐到检察官的位置上之后，凛凛子却发现一切并没有想象的那么简单。她太过单纯，容易轻信别人，问讯的过程中往往就被嫌疑人所带跑。这点令与之搭档的资深事务官相原（安田显 饰）和前辈检察官大冢（三浦翔平 饰）十分之不爽。而在随后的日子里，凛凛子还将面临来自亲情、友情、爱情的严苛考验……
