国际知名的美发连锁沙龙Neo Image风光开幕，位于隔壁巷子的家庭式理发店——忠南理发厅却生意清淡。忠南理发厅的老板老贝（赵舜 饰）一心希望女儿小贝（曾之乔 饰）继承家业，而小贝却被Neo Image设计师们创意、新鲜、大胆的设计风格所折服。Neo Image的首席发型设计师杜亚斯（明道 饰）表面上对小贝异常冷漠，但看出她颇有发艺才华，暗中起了惜才之心；而小贝却阴差阳错地对Neo Image的另一位发型师林尔奇（王绍伟 饰）产生好感。
