成立于1994年来自伦敦的三人组合，尽管乐队取名Smoke City(雾都)，但乐队音乐取向并不如一些英国组合的沉郁和凄美。
成员有Chris Franck，Nina Miranda，Mark Brown。Smoke City由两个帅哥和一个美女组成，分别是：短发的Mark Brown，有着一头金黄色卷发的Chris Franck 和一个漂亮的混血儿Nina Miranda组成，加上他们喜欢把各种民族音乐融合在自己作品中，所以Smoke City不仅得到了许多Trip-Hop乐迷的青睐，还十分受POP和New Age乐迷的欢迎。
1997年首张专辑《*OKE CITY FLYING AWAY》，初听感觉好像把TRIP-HOP音乐幽了一默，歌曲中主音Nina加入各种古怪的人声音效和轻爵士、BOSSA 等原素，配着TRIP-HOP等节奏，一派的夏日清新、甜腻，让人会心微笑。整张唱片的配乐也很花心思和注重细节，偶尔几下的健盘弹奏、大提琴和弦或几声的吉它和声平添音乐的跳跃感。今天听来还是依然鲜活、可爱。乐队代表曲目“Under Water Love”曾经一直占据着欧洲各国主流音乐排行榜前十名位置。
