People mysteriously start receiving voicemail messages from their future selves, in the form of the sound of them reacting to their own violent deaths, along with the exact date and time of their future death, listed on the message log. The plot thickens as the surviving characters pursue the answers to this mystery which could save their lives.

本系列39话共集结了金子修介、八木毅、実相寺昭雄、梶研吾等11名导演和NAKA雅MURA等在内的18名编剧共同完成。

喜一和基一（市原隼人 分饰）是一对双胞胎兄弟，弟弟喜一聪慧过人，人缘极佳；哥哥基一迷恋摇滚，成绩超差。这年暑假，喜一与女友相约出国旅游，因而拜托哥哥偷梁换柱，代替他参加学校组织的素粒子物理学的学术报告会。不过他的首要任务就是劝说窝在家中的天才少女沙罗华（谷村美月 饰）一同前来。
沙罗华是母亲通过试管受精降生到这个世上来的，她继承了科学家父亲的优秀基因，年纪轻轻便设计出巨型的粒子对撞机，被世人称为天才少女。但她似乎对周遭的一切都漠不关心，不着调的基一那句“是否能创造宇宙”的闲话令沙罗华心有所动。在学术报告会上，两人结成研究小组，开始了创造宇宙的不可能任务……
本片根据机本伸司同名漫画改编。

公司职员片山敏树（哀川翔 饰）在下班回家路上看见一群青年正在向一个流浪者施暴，他出面制止，被青年的头目神木彰（森本慧 饰）记恨在心。随后数日，神木如幽灵般徘徊片山及其家人周围，直到神木将其年幼的女儿彩乃拐走并残忍地杀害。很快神木被警方逮捕，但因《未成年人保护法》得以逃避严刑制裁，相关个人信息亦受到保护。反之片山因对神木等高中生施以暴力继而引发本次凶杀案的话题被广为传播。片山杀女之仇难报，妻子亦在悲伤和舆论压力下自杀身亡。
三年后，神木从保护观察所假释出狱，片山为确认其是否改过自新而四处查访。但没想到的是，他自此走入少年们编织的捕杀陷阱之中……

Nostalgia is Takashi Miike’s favorite film of his considerable body of work. Including biographical elements, Nostalgia centers around the home and school of a young boy, whose family mix the violent and dysfunctional with the comic and the loveable. Though containing elements of the sudden and shocking brutality that many associate with this director, Young Thugs – Nostalgia is more concerned with a child’s moment of leaving the internalized world of fantasy, and passing on eagerly to the next stage of life. A wonderful, touching, startling vision that is uniquely Miike’s.

A young boy with a troubled home life becomes "chosen," and he stumbles into the middle of a great war of yōkai (a class of mythological creatures), where he meets a group of friendly yōkai who become his companions through his journey. Now he must fight to protect his friends and free the world of the yōkai from oppression.

Izo is an assassin in the service of a Tosa lord and Imperial supporter. After killing dozens of the Shogun's men, Izo is captured and crucified. Instead of being extinguished, his rage propels him through the space-time continuum to present-day Tokyo. Here Izo transforms himself into a new, improved killing machine.
