祥（王晶 饰）天赋异品，和他的二叔（林正英 饰）、三叔（吴孟达 饰）都是茅山赌术弟子，祥和三叔丈着有点小聪明开了一间赌博公司，赌徒有什么疑难问题都可以上来请教。香港女赌神高少少（吴君如 饰）被泰国赌王乃猜与其手下女巫合谋害死，化成冤魂。高少少的冤魂不堪枉死，前来找祥替她报仇，祥抵不住她的缠绕，答应替她报仇。高少少的妹妹高豆豆（邱淑贞 饰）也因心想为姐姐报仇而结识了祥，两人心生倾慕。
二叔可怜高少少惨死，也出山和祥、三叔一起挑战泰国赌王乃猜，茅山赌术和泰国巫术之战打响了。

五千年来，血魔反复再生作崇，附于有权势者身上，置人民于水深火热中，抗日年间，镇魔师梁初三与师兄合力将血魔镇服，可师兄身死，留下天赋异禀的孤雏林刚（林正英 饰）予初三抚养。一晃多年，十年动乱中，初三之子梁国栋（梁家辉 饰）检举父亲，投身“革命”。两年后，劳改归来的林刚与经历现实磨砺、丧失革命锐气的梁国栋重逢，二人在工地惊见血魔封印破坏，而当年的“臭老九”、今日的革委会领导雷复鸣被血魔附身，预备用手中权势掀起血海……另一方面，对血魔尚不知情的林刚、国栋二人渐渐明白了他们父辈当年的作为，同时对雷复鸣之女雷珊（王祖贤 饰）暗生情愫，但他们和血魔的血战，不可避免…

Master Lam and his two disciples must battle a horde of Chinese vampires in order to get the teeth dust needed to cure an ailing general. Meanwhile, the general's wife is pregnant, and the evil spirit of an aborted baby wants to possess the unborn child's body for its resurrection.

Chaos ensues after a team of archaeologists accidentally breaks the seals of a sleeping vampire family, which prevent them from waking up.
