In 1960, Marc and Philippe are counselors at a summer camp in the French countryside. One night, Marc finds Philippe dressed and made up as a woman, and from now on, he will keep on humiliating Philippe.

The petite waitress Johnny works and lives in a truck-stop, where she's lonely and longs for love. She develops a crush on the garbage truck driver Krassky, although her sleazy boss Boris warns her that he's gay.

Thomas Jerome Newton is an alien who has come to Earth in search of water to save his home planet. Just as he is ready to leave Earth, Thomas is intercepted by the U.S. government, and his entire plan is threatened.
