Our Mission
We are committed to helping the whole world see the Bible as one unified story that leads to Jesus.
The Bible Project is a non-profit animation studio that produces short-form, fully animated videos to make the biblical story accessible to everyone, everywhere. We create 100% free videos, podcasts, and resources that explore the Bible’s unified story.
The Bible is a divine-human book that speaks God’s word to his people. We believe it ultimately points us to Jesus, who has the power to change individuals and whole communities when we let the biblical story speak for itself.
Sadly, for so many, the Bible is used as a devotional grab bag or an instruction manual that fell out of the sky. Worse, for many more, it is an oppressive book of out-dated rules used to control people.
We simply desire to help others understand the scriptures and all their complex themes in a way that is engaging, approachable, and transformative. We are committed followers of Jesus, but are not organizationally a part of any specific Christian denomination or tradition. We hope that people from all backgrounds will find value in this work, regardless of their religious or non-religious convictions.

本部动画短片用流畅而细腻的笔触，勾勒了一个在二维平面和三维立体间随意转换的奇妙空间。黑白小人穿梭在随手勾画出的平面正方形里，但是无论怎么描画都不满意。刚刚画出一部分，就很快被自己画出的正方形挡住。直到他无意间画出了三维立方体，但是他始终走不出二维平面的束缚。黑白小人反反复复的跟立方体博弈着，却最终还是回到了原点。
这部由法国鬼才导演Léonard Cohen执导完成的短片，荣获2011年昂西动画节最佳毕业作品奖。导演Léonard Cohen毕业于法国国家高等装饰艺术学院，从本片的影像风格中可见一斑。

2009 animated short by Cordell Barker

风雨交加，雷电齐鸣的夜晚。冰冷的机械流水线上，正在组装着即将制作完成的矩形小人。当他来到外面的世界时，发现了众多跟自己一模一样的矩形小人。可他们把他视为异类，看见他就匆匆惊慌而逃。矩形小人并不甘心，一路尾随着他们。直到来到海边时，矩形小人目睹了一场凶杀案。他赶紧跑去通知其他小人。然而大家认定他就是杀人凶手，纷纷放箭射杀他。可怜的矩形小人只能蜷缩在黑暗的角落里，想起刚刚经历的一幕一幕，伤心不已。他划燃了一只火柴，展开了他的报复行动。小人国瞬间一片火海。第二天，从排气口又生产出了两个矩形小人，同样的故事再次上演，然而结局到底会是怎样……
本部国产悬疑动画短片，由中山大学传播与设计学院1MT工作室出品制作完成。

1993 film by Mark Baker

This animated short revolves around the events causing an electrical systems failure on the west coast of the US. According to Blade Runner 2049’s official timeline, this failure leads to cities shutting down, financial and trade markets being thrown into chaos, and food supplies dwindling. There’s no proof as to what caused the blackouts, but Replicants — the bio-engineered robots featured in the original Blade Runner, are blamed.

It is 2046 when a mysterious alien force begins their annihilation of the human race. Leaving behind the one person she loves, Mikako joins the interstellar battle as a pilot. And so - while Mikako risks her life to save mankind - Noboru waits. The two lovers, worlds apart, desperately strive to remain connected as the gap between them widens at a frightening pace.

A tale of lost innocence, greed and the random justice of nature. When a boy and girl find an idol in the stomach of a rabbit, its magical abilities lead to riches. But for how long?

一个小女孩有着天生异于常人的体质，她的心跳声音特别猛烈，足以震动她所处的整个环境，于是，在她随意走在路上时，都会受到路人侧目，夜深人静的晚上，还有人被她剧烈的心跳声吵到，邻居也纷纷提出愤怒抗议，而她毫无办法制止这一切，只有用被单使劲裹住自己。她孤独地面对世界上的一切，整日从窗户俯瞰街上人们普通而琐碎的生活，烦恼自己因为古怪而和这个世界格格不入，只有落在窗台的小鸟愿意亲近她，还肯从她手中啄食食物。一日，在彻底清洗自己之后，她跳出了窗子，背上长出翅膀，加入小鸟的飞行队伍。

2004 film by Georges Schwizgebel

来自纽约视觉艺术学院（School of Visual Arts）的学生Jake Armstrong带来短片《阿尔法9号上的可怕生物！》（The Terrible Thing of Alpha 9!）。话说一颗奇怪的星球上有一种蓝色的长着好多只眼睛的巨大生物，无数人类葬身在此，如今，又有一个勇敢的家伙踏上了阿尔法9号星球……

伴随着一首首惬意舒适的乐曲，开启了一段梦幻斑斓的旅程。在画家井上直久那生花妙笔的引领下，我们来到了他所潜心创造的虚幻王国依巴拉度（Iblard）。魔法在这里是那么稀松平常，人们用自己的想象力创造一切。天空中的浮岛和小行星巍峨壮丽，街道和房屋为五彩缤纷的无名植物所覆盖。人们凭借可以漂浮在空中的交通工具出行，宛如天堂一般的所在，人类和动物乃至小精灵和谐相处，他们用魔法点缀着这有如梦境的幻想世界。生命在依巴拉度，从此有着不同寻常的意义……
本片根据井上直久的绘画作品编辑制作而成。

High school students Miho and Shouta are preparing for college entrance examinations. Miho comes from an island without even one cram school, while Shouta lives in Tokyo and works a part-time job. Both are striving to pass exams so they can enter college. The pair enroll in Z-Kai's correspondence education courses, and their lives cross before they realize it.

《晚餐》（原作：山田咏美）自幼随波逐流，从未得到家人夸赞的美美（中越典子 配音），兀自品尝着婚后的寡淡味道。直到某一天，他与爽朗的垃圾清洁工纮邂逅，其黯淡的人生总算有了色彩，美味的料理充满爱情的甜蜜味道。
《人生Best》（原作：角田光代）年届四十的鸠子（中谷美纪 配音）是某化妆品策划开发部门的课长助理，她出身东大，美丽端庄，然而恋爱之花始终未曾绽放。期待看到初恋男友，她鼓起勇气迈向同学会的会场。
《不在他处，正是此地》（原作：山本文绪）丈夫失业，女儿夜不归宿，儿子态度冷淡，年过四十的家庭主妇真穗（木村多江 配音）操持家中一切，夜晚在便利店打工贴补家用，徒劳担忧着子女的未来，不得闲暇，几近崩溃。

A young girl who treated her pets as comrades and liked to play with construction blocks, experiences her life changing after the dissolution of the Soviet Union.

“アニ*クリ15”是由日本放送协会（NHK）于2007年推出的动画企划，该企划延请业内15名名气大小不一的动画人参与，如押井守、今敏、林明美、小林治、新海诚、竹内敦志等人。针对作品题材、创作形式与手法不作特别限定，仅规定时长为56秒左右。短片自2007年5月开始，每组5 部短片随机播放，并且事先不做预告，由于形式新颖，手法独特，因此引起观众的广泛关注，NHK还收到不少观众打来的咨询短片播放时间的电话。全部短片分三季播出，最后一集于2009年3月放送，其中包括今敏的《早上好》，这也是已故动画人今敏最后一部公开的动画作品。

出生于金泽市的泽口乃里子（田中美里 配音），不愿像姐姐那样在老家平凡了结此生。高中毕业后她考取东京的大学，随后和同事结婚迁往美国。5年后，乃里子带着4岁的儿子基树重返家乡，过去几年里经历了怎样的内心起伏，也许只有脸上的倦容可窥一二。专心做和式点心的父亲，让她不觉想起高中最后的一段岁月，那个同样专注于做点心的初中同学久夫，让她不愿靠近，却又不觉为之所吸引。人生常为这样那样的“错过”所改变，可从来“如果”这般可以重来的机会。留在身边的，只有那夜一曾爱过的证明……
本片根据唯川惠的原作改编。
